The journal warmly welcomes submissions
from scholars and legal professionals from various fields:
The primary requirement
for submissions is their scholarly characterThe primary requirement
for submissions is their scholarly character

Submissions must present the results of fundamental or applied legal research in the field of private law.

The journal publishes worksThe journal publishes works

within this subject area that demonstrate high-quality legal analysis, new directions in legal thought, or research that goes beyond a mere description of particular private-law issues, however accurate such description may be.

We expect articles that reflect the authors’ own scholarly inquiry. We therefore welcome everything that is new, progressive, and highly topical; conversely, we find unacceptable material in which there is no sense of scholarly sharpness or even a certain intellectual tension.

Types of accepted submissions:

Research articles

Aimed at examining a specific civil-law category, phenomenon, or a new manifestation of existing legal constructs, identifying their causes and consequences, and offering the author’s own positions and recommendations.

Analytical articles

Aimed at an in-depth analysis of a particular problem arising in legal practice, demonstrating the foundations on which different approaches to its resolution are based.

Translations

Ukrainian-language translations of articles that have already been published in other journals, with the permission of the holder of the exclusive rights to the article, and which are of interest to the Ukrainian legal community.

Review articles

Contain an overview of judicial, notarial, and advocacy practice on a particular topic in the form of a selection of cases; draft laws and normative legal acts regulating civil relations or related matters; court decisions and normative legal acts of other states and international institutions; as well as foreign legal literature.

Our principle

  • Our journal adheres to the principles of open science, and therefore
all publications are available in open access.
  • We believe that scholarly knowledge should be a common good,
not a privilege. That is why reading, downloading, and using
the journal’s materials is free of charge for all users,
without any financial or technical barriers.
  • In this way, we promote the free circulation of ideas,
international scholarly dialogue, and the improvement of research quality,
since openness makes science more transparent, accessible, and influential.
