Copyright and Licensing


C.P. Journal is an open access journal. This means that all its content is freely available to all users and institutions. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, as well as to use them for any other lawful purpose, without prior permission from the publisher or the author. We support the principles and strategy of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

When submitting a manuscript to C.P. Journal, authors confirm and certify that:

  • In the case of co-authorship, they are duly authorized by their co-authors to act on their behalf with respect to the manuscript and to correspond with the editorial board.

  • The manuscript submitted to the journal has not been previously published, is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, and its submission has been approved by all authors and by the relevant authorities of the research institutions where the work was carried out.

  • They are able to provide written permission from copyright holders for the reproduction of any materials – portions of the manuscript that have been previously published or are otherwise protected by copyright.

Authors agree to the following copyright and licensing terms:

  • The author transfers to the NGO ‘Civil Law Platform’ the rights to the scientific article for publication in the scientific legal journal “C.P. Journal” (ISSN 2786-8834).
  • Authors agree that the article and any related published materials shall be distributed digitally under an open-access license – specifically, the CC BY 4.0.
  • Open access to published articles is maintained on the official website www.clp.org.ua for the entire duration of the existence of the journal C.P. Journal”.
  • The journal is established and wholly owned by the NGO ‘Civil Law Platform’.
  • All published content is intended to promote the development and public dissemination of civil law. The opinions expressed by the authors are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of the NGO ‘Civil Law Platform’.
  • The relationship between the Author and the NGO ‘Civil Law Platform’ is governed by a copyright agreement concluded between the parties.
  • Prior to publication, the author must sign a copyright agreement, which should be sent to the editorial office of the C.P. Journal” journal at editor@clp.org.ua.
  • In the case of multiple authors, the agreement must be signed by all co-authors.
