1. Develop a well-balanced civil law doctrine in Ukraine capable of influencing legislation and legal practice.
2. Ensure the mutual enrichment of legal scholarship and judicial practice.
3. Foster reflection on the sources of Ukrainian civil law as a means of identifying its shortcomings and overcoming them.
The core idea of the journal is to contribute to the adaptation of Ukrainian private law to the European legal space and to facilitate the understanding of Ukrainian civil law by European legal institutions, in particular when investing in the Ukrainian economy and when resolving disputes before foreign courts.
